Sadly he seems more preoccupied with his solo career these days. If we do get another Symphony X album though, I hope they go back to the more neoclassical/proggy sound of their older stuff. The whole gruff/macho vibe of Iconoclast and Underworld wasn't really my thing, despite still enjoying the albums a fair bit

Doesn't seem likely we'll see anything new IMO. And if we did, it would probably be more of this style (which is kind of Romeo's solo career nowdays anyway).

Makes me sad, but at the same time - they do get old. It would be ridiculous to expect Russell Allan's performance being even close to these albums, back when he could belt as easily as breathe
