Yeah the sound is impeccable.
But I believe there is a remaster out there. Seen it for either this or The Hurting

I guess I just don't like my beats to sound so compressed and metallic, in the context of an album like this at least. Maybe I'll warm to them

Oh damn, need to Soulseek that Steven Wilson remix. The original has amazing production (a feat especially respectable for the time of this release) but this still sounds very interesting. Wilson is an interesting producer

only on sput do people get mad over a 3.5 rating
Where's the other .5 off your rating Gyro? What an affront, I'm disgusted at how you trample on the legacy of this for the most part forgotten harmless fluffy 80s pop act

I apologise for any upset caused by this 3.5 rating.
I've already contacted the band and directly apologised and they were very shocked about the 3.5 rating but offered me my choice of any TfF merchandise up to the value of $19.99 to show no hard feelings. I chose a Shout! mug and album art pin badge.

The band monitor the site daily as they are fully aware that this is now the last remaining safe habitat for TfF fans. They have made efforts to get all TfF threads on Sputnik protected as a 'heritage site of outstanding cultural significance' so the least I can do for the cause is bump my rating.

i mean when you have an album where you can never have heard of the band ever in your life yet to your surprise have heard literally every song off of it a thousand times from like every feel good coming of age movie ever made in the 80s and 90s you know you've got a quintessential album.
