"I had no idea a remaster existed but listening to it now, I really can't tell the difference lol"

I presume you're talking about the remaster when Jupiter was re-released for Record Store Day 2014. I have that version, and I can't really tell the difference either apart from the cover art now being purple instead of green, ha!

I am still fucking bummed about that. Such a terrible way for someone to go, too.

I hope they will still continue in some kind of way... It would be such a bummer to never see them live

I’ll be interested to see how they go about doing the Cave In show this summer. Have his bass and vocals come in through the PA? rotating cast of fill ins? etc. It’s my first time seeing them, just sucks it’s under these circumstances

I imagine it'll be fill ins as well. I'm expecting it to be Nate.

I was a couple rows back at this performance and it was fucking powerful. Everyone stood in awe and you could hear sniffles all throughout the crowd. Probably the most emotional set I've ever seen.

Was there too and would definitely agree. Was like a wake. Heartwrenching.

I just copy and pasted your comment because I wanted to reply to it but didn't feel like quoting it lol

Definitely heart wrenching. I couldn't even sit through Bell Witch after because of how emotionally devastating Brodsky and McGrath's set was

Oh hahaha

Same man The mirror reaper set was one of the things i looked forward to the most and even thought it was great the first 35 mins or so I couldnt concentrate at all because i was so shook. Those applauses man where they just didnt stop and Adam would turn around in tears. In time ill be so happy i was involved in that moment but to be honest Im still processing the whole Caleb thing and ive never been like that with the death of someone I dont know, Even though I know some people who did know him.

My buddies missed out on the tribute set because they were off doing other things and I'm so happy and grateful that I went. It was a truly intimate experience and one that I'll always remember for how beautiful and honest it was. Just two guys baring their souls to a room full of people who likely didn't know their friend at all, but loved him still. It was easily my favorite performance of the festival.

I also love that Brodsky got the Jupiter satellite tattooed on him afterwards in Caleb's memory.

Gonna jam this tonight and also try to give White Silence another go. I never really got too hard into this band but I'm gonna give it another shot.

I feel like Until Your Heart Stops would be right up your alley. I do feel like this record is a grower though. When I first heard it, I thought it was "good" but not as amazing as everyone seemed to claim. The instrumentation was impressive but there were little things here and there that really bugged me. Through the years, it became an album that I really came to love.

Listen to this and tell me it's not fucking amazing.

I'm a big fan of Old Man Gloon and I know Caleb was a big part of that band so I feel like I might be able to dig these guys now.

@Hawks: definitely check out Zozobra then, if you haven’t. Caleb’s sort of solo project

Mutoid Man does indeed slay but I was recommending Caleb related things since he mentioned wanting to give this another go because of Caleb and OMG :p
