so if you like ambient music you will dislike hospice? its obviously has a lot of ambience to it. are people assuming i'm categorising that album as being in those genres?

No but it's ignorant to claim that someone who likes ambient will automatically like hospice and this album has nothing to do with post-rock or emo

album has a lot of ambient atmosphere to it. especially the first few tracks. not ignorant at all. people on here are so adverse and confrontational towards others' observations and opinions. pretty annoying.

atypical song structures. lots and lots of reverb and texture. elements of noise, like the track thirteen. wears emotions on its sleeve. high pitched, almost whiny vocals.

Jeff buckley has high pitched vocals as well, he must also be emo.

i didnt say this was emo or postrock or ambient or anything like that. i said fans of those genres will likely enjoy hospice as it shares a lot of characteristics with those genres, despite not falling within them. people who enjoy those genres have tendancies to enjoy certain characteristics of music a lot, such as ambience, conceptual progressive albums, emotional lyrics and vocal delivery. its tiring trying to converse with pedantic nerds online.

Hospice is one of the greatest albums of the last ten years carried by a truly stunning concept, this is just a collection of tunes.

I feel like this is more than just a collection of songs. It isn't a concept album but I always feel there is a theme throughout the album.
