I might be the only person on sputnik who's never heard BTBAM before...so having nothing to compare this to (at the time I heard it), I was pretty blown away. Digging Colors Live now though.

I like this. You might not. But I do. Just my opinion. Don't worry, yours is valid too!

I think quite a few of the over-descriptions were just for lulz, but a good point anyway

I've been following these guys since their first demo. I've listened to this once so far and I've come to the conclusion that they seriously need to get rid of the keyboards. Tommy uses such predictable samples and doesn't create his own sounds (big no no). The first half of track 2 is badass, and almost a return to the old, more concise btbam, but it's ruined when you get to the middle of the song. They're trying to cover too much ground and it just sounds goofy and I can't take it seriously. They need to shorten their songs and stop trying to sound so epic with the lame keyboard sounds. Never the less, there are still some fantastic moments on this album.

Another thing, most of Tommy's singing sounds so much better on this album. On the other albums his singing voice is very subdued and rather weak. He really projects on this album, you can finally feel his emotion. Lulz

Another thing as well. Paul was eager to finish The Great Misdirect so that the band could finish their contract with
Victory Records. It makes perfect sense that The Great Misdirect seemed rushed and half-assed, this EP is a lot more
promising.

quite honestly, it infuriates me that anybody could neg a btbam review with a 4.5 rating or highr
