I love this but I still prefer my own lime-green, Everlasting Gaze type album cover that exists only in my head

As the reviewer said, this album is just absurdly long at 15 tracks and over 70 minutes. The fact the second half of the album is really uneven makes it seem like it drags on forever. That being said, the first 6 tracks from 'Everlasting Gaze' to 'The Sacred and Profane' are all outstanding. After that, 'This Time', 'Wound', 'The Crying Tree of Mercury', 'With Every Light', and 'Age of Innocence' are all quality tracks as well. Unfortunately mixed in with those you've got tracks like 'Heavy Metal Machine' and 'Glass and the Ghost Children' which are just godawful and in the latter's case go on for 9+ minutes. With some better editing (and ditching the incoherent storyline) this could have been an absolute monster of an album at 11 or 12 songs. But Billy fell into the same trap many other artists did in the 90s and had to stuff the CD full of all 70ish minutes of data it could hold. Fortunately in the digital/streaming age we have the ability to cut out the crap and only listen to the good stuff ('Outside' by Davie Bowie says "hi") and that is the way I prefer to enjoy this album.
Lastly, if you care enough about this album to consider owning it on vinyl (as I do), I highly recommend it because the art booklet it comes with is insanely awesome.

This album is extremely underrated. So many great tracks. I have a hard time deciding whether I like this or Adore more.

"In August 2018, Billy answered an Instagram Q&A about this. The question was "Will the Machina reissue ever see the light of day?" He answered "Just signed legal settlement today on that. So yes". Corgan announced in later Q&A's that the reissue will feature completely new artwork and will not reuse any of the original Machina artwork."
MOMMY PLEASE

That’s what I’m wondering. I want a proper version of Machina II.

both Machinas yes. They've been saying the only way they'd ever release Machina reissued would be as it was originally intended as a double album with a remastered and reordered tracklisting

They pr much chose the worst version of Blue Skies Bring Tears for this album - I don't know if there are going to be different versions chosen for this re-issue, but this to me is without a doubt the definitive BSBT:

There's a couple on here that most people seem to hate at first, but some really grow over time - Imploding Voice is one of those, that was a no brainer "bottom 3 on the album" when I first got it but I genuinely enjoy it now
