This is building some hype so its only a matter of time before some dickless morons come in here to rate it a 1 just to be contrarians.
Still sitting comfortably on a 4.6 average

Still think Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang is better than this, but it's awesome for sure
my beef remains that these guys are so damn melancholy/serious most of the time that it comes off a bit cheesy over the course of an entire album
then again, judging by Kno's album from last year, that's mostly his fault.

veigh their older albums have tracks that are just plain silly, but still dope (Fukinwichu from WRFF and Old School from SU come to ming, among others).
Ever since APOS they went in a completely new, darker, artistic direction. It doesn't mean that they always take themselves completely seriously now, they've stated in interviews that they've outgrown the stage of making those immature-type tracks.
I think it's refreshing for a hip-hop group to always keep trying to mature and outdo themselves, especially in a genre where it's so easy to keep making the same songs over and over.

Strange Journey wasn't exactly dark and serious, but either way this and CL in general are fucking great.

yeah I know I have WRFF -- love it. I guess I was just mainly referring to this and Death is Silent, and to a much lesser extent APOS (that's almost a 5 for me).
but I also don't agree with the notion that this is completely fresh and original either, we've seen plenty of artists try this -- some less succesfully than others (imo Eminem). Atmosphere's the same way, Sage Franscis, even going back farther to Guru/Gang Starr.
