I used to hate Mess' scream/yell but after a while it grew on me and he became one of my favorite screamers. He has improved a lot from his earlier albums. I don't think this is Mess infested, I think it just doesn't have enough Jonny in it.
Instrumentally this is definitely one of their best. I love the technality that flows melodically with the music.
Even though I do like DTBM 1 more I still like this album a lot too

STILL completely perplexed by the notion of discarding originality and splendid musicianship for this.... thing. I shouldn't be, they did the same thing when they went from Whatever I Say... to DBM. They always progress, then regress substantially. I honestly hope they break up.
