might just be time to get into this once and for all.

this band kind of pisses me off because back in the day the Runescape forums were plagued with Agalloch fanboys.

Don't blame the band for some fools pretending they like it to be cool on forumz.

too many bm vocals and too little clean vocals in marrow

Clean vocals were used just ONE fucking time on the entire album. Just because I said that they should be used more on Marrow doesn't mean that I want them everywhere, just like when I say the harsh vox should be used more here that doesn't mean I want the clean vocals to go away. The criticisms aren't the same.

Today was a nice day, my son was teething all day, so my family and I just chilled in the living room

with The Mantle and Ashes Against the Grain playing in the background all morning. It's funny, the

music seemed to sooth my son and my wife couldn't care less as she usually doesn't take to metal all

that well, she did say that she liked the music.

Goes to show Agalloch writes beautiful music that can be appreciated by almost anyone. I prefer AATG

only because they really nailed the ability to write unforced music.

Their first three albums are 5's for me, but I still think their best is Pale Folklore.

This needs more I Am the Wooden Doors songs + BM vocals, and less indie-inspired pseudo folk sections + dragginess towards the end.

this provides the folky counterpart to ashes tho so keep the indie inspired pseudo folk sections
