discog walk: Full visit on rm 2013 ed. Very impressive double LP release. Complex music arrangement well done. Less catchy than their others great works but very rewarding nonetheless.

Wow, does this record lose me in its back half. Are these guitar passages what Fripp/Belew sound like to people who hate them?

The Revealing and Ritual are fantastic. Not a fan of the other two tracks

I like to align this album with Sandinista by the Clash. Both albums have some overreach, but the bands are so great, almost all of it works. Takes some time, as FR and e say above, and it's true, but also worth it.

Absolutely true. This is unfortunatelly, one of the most underrated albums in the history of prog.
