"Do this comments about her live perfomances really make sense, she did great performances when she was still a child I think its proof enough that she actually CAN sing live, I think its rather unfair to pick out the worst performances there are on youtube and to deduce then she's allways bad live. Almost every artist has his weaknesses sometimes. Give me one vocalist that never missed the right note live and I'll show you a video or a file that will proof you wrong. She can sing, she can write music. Of course she has an outstanding band behind her which is mixing the best of americana, country & contemporary pop and still sounds original. Some of the best mainstream stuff out there!"

Huh ?!?
Well as to the part I understood, I accept your challenge.

Van Morrison
Janis Joplin

Listened to it the other day and wasn't all that impressed. I'll give it another try later.

@dark just because I skip it sometimes doesn't mean it isn't a really good song, it just interrupts the flow and is a little too long

i admittedly like this album more than i did on the first couple listens

its leagues ahead of most of the trite crap you'll find on the radio these days

i think people are just becoming more welcoming of radio music

because the majority of radio music is being touted as "better than that other radio music", even the stuff that previously would have been considered "that other radio music"

altho im not saying thats the same for you
