awright, In Sorte was fair, if a bit monotone. Heaven't heard this, but Gateways is pretty good. For their recent form.

With the exception of 'Gateways' and 'Dimmu Borgir' this album is extremely dull and generic. Not even the symphonic influences can bring this up above just another average collection of effortless tunes. It sounds like DB's studio outtakes, but at least they didn't make the worst symphonic Black Metal album of the 21st Century so far...

Come on, the last minute of Gateways is badass. That said, the rest isn't so good, and the female vocals are awful
