I'm all into bands going nu-metal and stuff, but this album is only passable due to subpar songwriting. Shoot It Out is my favorite song because it's so ballsy.

"Russian Roulette" is delicious. THE TASTE IS SO DIVINE
And "Daydreamer" is among the highlights, IMO, I dunno why it doesn't
get mentioned.

Ok, so I finally got a chance to really listen to this while I was driving to college today and it's starting to grow on me a little. Some other songs that I think are worth mentioning are "Chasing the Rapture," "One More Day," and "Dead in the Water."

I think you're correct for the most part Greg. Although, let the 2nd half grow on you a little. As PT777 just said, there is some growth there I think. It probably won't have you raising your rating above your current 3 though.

Couldn't agree more with them being catchy. Their choruses are some of the catchiest I've listened to in awhile for alt rock or hard rock next to Chevelle that is.

Chevelle is at the top of the radio rock food chain. 10 years is close though. But then again I am biased towards chevelle considering they have always been my favorite mainstream rock group

Trust me chevelle is great. If theirs an album to start out with from them its either Wonder Whats Next which is my favorite by them or Vena Sera.

I have only heard some of the singles. I'll get to them, it's just a matter of when. And when I do, I'll go through the entire discog as I like to hear the way a band progress.
