It's hard for me to say Superunknown is my favorite sometimes when Jesus Christ Pose is a thing.

BMF is close to SUK, but 2 things give SUK the edge for
me:

1) Like Suicide > New Damage in terms of closer
efficiency

2) SUK feels more diverse. BMF has a straight-up
metallic approach. Not a bad thing, but it makes SUK
the most interesting listen in my opinion. Both rule
hard though.

Danny, I agree with everything you just said.

Hard.

Sweet man. The BMF club does have a pretty strong case though, I'll give 'em that.

They for sure do, but for some reason I always prefer diversity over complete mastery of one sound. That's why your description of Superunknown is the perfect reasoning of my preference of it.

Yeah, I guess I tend to be that way as well. Black Sabbath and Smashing Pumpkins are slight exceptions there though.

It depends on the band for sure. I just meant as a general rule.

True thing, true thing. I don't mean to sell it short, but you can tell that it was the goal with SUK. And one well accomplished.

Zero Chance gives me chills every time. The outstanding and exceptional songwriting is only one reason why I love this album so much.

If Soundgarden releases another album, I hope it's all in the style of Ty Cobb.

Sounds repetitive.

I just don't think they wrote enough songs in that vein.

15 wonderful grunge songs and 1 dud make this one of my favorite 5's.

The dud is "Switch Opens" ...

4th of July might be my fave SG song overall.

Which is your fave school, if any?
