Meh, I've always been iffy on Matt Heafy's vocals, I enjoy them sometime and not so much other times.

Dying in your Arms (this song just sucks period)

It's a decent enough album, definitely some good songs but not all around solid.

Trivium seems pretty good to me, only ever heard a few songs though. I seen and heard Matt Heafy on the RR United DVD and he is amazing. Dudes only 19, that's retarded. ...jealous...

I wanna like this band, but the vocals are a total turn off!! And all the songs get predictable with the screamed vocals and the clean vocals in the chrous'. These guys are really talented. Heafy just needs some vocal lessons.

They don't scream properly, and the singing is below average.

The drumming is pretty good, but there are tons of better ones.

Listen to Maiden, Priest, or for the most part any NWOAHM band then tell me they are still amazing.

1st sentence: Just cause you dont like his screaming doesnt mean he isnt doing it properly. And even if he bust his vocal cords why the fuck would u care.

2nd sentence: There are tons of better ones. SO WAT?
If you only listened to the best you wouldnt have much to listen to.

3rd sentence: Just cause i listen 2 this doesnt meen i dont also listen 2 maiden. And i would listen 2 Judas Priest if i liked it wich i DONT. And wat the fuck is NWOAHM?

There are quite a few things wrong with your argument. The main woes of it are that the guy doesn't scream properly, as explained by Steerpike some pages ago. Second, is that when you do make a good point, it's so horribly spelled and puncuated it's damn-near undechipherable. Also it's natural for people to like musicians who are, you know, GOOD. So the fact that there are better screamers out there does mean something. And by the way, NWOAHM stands for New Wave Of American Heavy Metal.
