This rocks. That chick's voice is so good.

But the vocals on the first song remind me of the first song off of "You Can't Take It With You" by As Tall As Lions. It's called Circles I believe.

Yep, this does indeed rock. And your comment says a lot, because even when the music rocks, the chick's voice isn't exactly a rock voice. And yet, it all fits in sooooo well.

Ooh, another vote for an As Tall As Lions influence. And it's the opener again.

A pretty special album right here.. I'm generally indifferent to a lot of music similar to this, but even I can appreciate how much quality is being spunked into my ears by Parades right now.

The drumming is indeed awesome Rudy. That's Jonathan Boulet & the kid is a talent and a half... If you get to really like this, check out his solo LP as well.

Great to hear you like it so much Edwin. Like you, this type of music will usually float on by me if it's not super duper catchy (& I wouldn't necessarily call this unbelievably catchy from a sing-along point of view). But yeah, it's just quality all-around.

Yeah Tom, put aside your distrust for my taste in music & let Parades blow your mind.....

That's what chambered did... He's only listening to this as Silveri thinks this is the 2nd best LP of the year so far. Don't worry about Davey thinking it's the best!

Hope you like Foals as well DiceMan. The albums are not exactly alike by the way, but they are my top 2 of the year so far.

Glad you liked it couch. Could it be another 5 or 4.5 on the way!?

If you love this, I advise you to stay as far away from Foals as you possibly can. You'll thank me in the end.
