Chasing ghosts is boring and lame. Flowerbomb was alright but nearly every other song sounded the same. New album is a
little better but the lyrics are really getting a bit old.

I'll agree that the lyrics are getting old. I'm digging these guys especially now that I've revisited them. I think the appeal for me is the passion and energy they put into it, reminiscent of a lot of melodic hardcore, instead of relying on technical skill.

God I miss this sound. Joel stated that the band is "only progressing" in their songwriting skills, yet every album after this one pales in comparison. Besides maybe Chasing Ghosts, depending on my mood.
