Not really, the guy sounds like most other pop punk vocalists. Not terrible but not good.
I really do disagree. There is a depth and versatility to his style that helps him stand out as more than a branch from a (Patrick) stump. This Message Edited On 07.30.08

Also, I wouldn't really call Max Bemis a pop-punk singer.

I know I sound like a total Paramore fanboy here, but Williams is the only vocalist in her genre who stands out as really talented.
Except for Matt Thiessen from Relient K (who, it seems, most people here hate).

matt thiessen lol

Other than the vocals, paramore are just as bad, if not worse, than this band.
|
| |
nah they both rule actually

I won't deny Hayley Williams at all, she is excellent.

The album just about holds together with the emo-guitar tracks. The "burlesque" songs completly ruin it. What a shame Pretty. Odd. is shit too.

Read my soundoff for my take on this if you're interested.I was gonna write what is it it as a comment here but thought that it would be better suited to a soundoff.

This is quite a good album, but that whiny voice is just a bit too overpowering.
