the bass boost button on my 1996 RCA X125 is enough to make this album sound more real and intense then any shit a remaster could do

most late 80's and early 90's metal CD's will sound terrible because most studios were still working with analog recording setups and didnt know how to compensate for the differences in digital sound reproduction versus analog mediums like vinyl and tape, therefore the CD's sound hollow and fucked up most of the time whereas the vinyl and tape versions are closer to the actual sound recorded.
this problem has basically been eliminated to the point where analog and digital recordings sound pretty much the same, but when digital was first coming into its own it caused a lot of problems just because it was new and people didnt know how to use it.
that being said remasters are gay

yep thats true but the advantage is back in the good old days they made the cd's sound as best as possible with full dynamics and shit then for some reason mid 90s and on everything turned to shit and had to be brickwalled or it wasnt hevy enough but everything sounds like fuckin mush and makes me rly upset and all these remasters do is take the original dyanmic audio and squash it and boost frequencies to make it sounds like a new record, and the result is fucking cunt fuckishit pisser wank
