There was a moment last night, when she was sandwiched between the two Finnish dwarves and the Maori tribesmen, where I thought, "Wow, I could really spend the rest of my life with this woman".

I've been listening to this, but my speaker system is crappy so I'm not comfortable with rating it. I should be able to fix that issue soon though... hopefully.

Where can I buy this album in the U.S.? Its not on itunes, rhapsody, or amazon. And doesn't look like they'll ship the cd to the U.S. either.

Off their website (deadlettercircus.com) or jbhifi.com.au

These guys are definitely among my favorite bands. Can't decide if I like this as much as their ep though
|

This much different from the S/T EP ?
I never really checked them out after that cause I hold that EP in such high regard.

a bit too polished and occasionally monotonous

Yeah their EP might be a bit better. This is still excellent though. Definitely worth checking out. Will probably get around a 4-4.5 from me.

The wait for Dead Letter Circus’ debut LP was well & truly worth it, since ‘This Is The Warning’ consolidates & builds on the EP’s the quartet had already released. Debuting at #2 on the Oz charts proves the crossover appeal apparent here, as the soaring melodies of Kim Benzie’s vocals & Rob Maric’s guitar somehow combine exquisitely with a thumping rhythm section. It produces a number of stunning moments over its 53 minutes, while variety is sufficient via increased use of spacey synths on a handful of expansively experimental cuts. Recommended Tracks: Big, Here We Divide, Next In Line & This Is The Warning.
So that's my Sound-Off of sorts, as I would have needed to write something up anyway since this will definitely be in my year-end list. Actually, it's probably top 3 as of right now!

Gee, you could have told me earlier... Or bugged me more. LOL!
I'm surprised they're not your #1.
I'm not a huge fan of 'The Design' btw. I don't think they needed that extra "different" track. The Drum, Cage & the closer was enough.

Lol told you earlier. I think every Aussie on here has been banging on about these guys for a good while.
They're definitely up there. But i have Dillinger Escape Plan, Deftones and Rosetta as high, if not higher.
I love every single track on there, but i think Walk is probably the weakest. Really like The Design, Kim's vocals are crazy good on it. But yeah. agreed they probably didnt need to experiment as mich as they did.
I can see the next release being chockas full of electro though, seems to be the direction they're heading in.
