Its not even just about anthony green. Nothing he has done up until circa has hit this hard. Mock me however you want. But they threw away a great thing, for what sounds like, Radio play.

If thats your honest opinion then that's cool, I find this to be much better then anything they've
done before.

The lyrics are to open. There's no mystery in them. And they are the normal "rock" sound, with a bit of screwy guitar in there and a few other unknown instruments. The music its self sounds amazing. But I honestly think anthony green singing this type of music sounds like crap. These arent his lyrics, and he sounds like he doesnt even know them or what emotion to throw into them as he sings, which completely ruins the songs. The only song in my personal opinion which comes slightly close to the feeling this band usually makes me feel, is Frozen creek. And that song has been with them for quite some time now.

I feel like the first few songs are a departure from their previous sound, but a lot of the second half sits comfortably next to Juturna and OLG. They don't sound the same, but I don't see it as too big a stretch at all. I personally loooove this though, so it could just be a matter of taste.

Definitely less dreamscapey though.

After Sitting back, reading allot of these comments, I can safely say that people who are looking for lyrics and imperfection, should not listen to this CD. If your after musical perfection, great sound, and instrumentals, buy this CD and you will love it.
emjayar08, thanks for pointing out jomak222's comment. I also share the exact same feelings.

Just to humor us, I am curious about one thing: you keep throwing around this word perfection (often presented as musical perfection). What is this?

I'm referring to musical perfection as not going outside the normal lines of music. Not really experimenting with anything, and fitting the normal tone of music. I feel that everything this album accomplished ... fucking rush did years ago. Its nothing new.
And mynameischan. I've heard get out twice now.

I thought the album was okay. Not as good as Juturna, but at least they're doing what works for them.
I'm pretty curious as to how the whole 'country rock' thing has gotten into a whole bunch of contemporary music around, though. It keeps showing up more and more.

I can't listen to the majority of it. No one can tell me with a straight face that this in any way comes close to the impact Translating the Name EP had. There's only so much pop I can listen to before going back to Seven Years and Lost Symphonies. You fanboys can flame if you want, just know that I've seen them in concert and still consider them my favorite band - if only for Anthony's older music.

Straight Face: this comes close to the impact TTN had.

2. "Excuse me sir do you even know what the fuck words are"
3. Blue Sky Noise is pretty great
