i would guess the reason it's so popular is because it maximizes the # of refrains while keeping it fresh
sweetness.. i don't even think it has a structure, it's just a bunch of lines followed by "whoa ohhh oh oh" or something. ends up being too samey for me, which would be ok if i liked the melody of it in the first place but i don't
