They have a cult of fans called juggalos. They wear fucking clown make up. They have a stage act involving spraying faygo soda amongst the crowd. Their 2009 show featured clowns, caged animals, dancers, all tons of stuff in that vein. They have their own religion that uses violent and clown symbology to promote god and other deity based superstitions.
THEY. ARE. EXTREMELY. FUCKING. GIMMICKY.
The part about the religion is absolutely not true. ICP are just entertainers, not founders of a cult, or trying to promote God. The Wraith albums were about death, and Shangri-La refers to God because the album is about heaven, whereas Hell's Pit is about Hell, and has references to Satan.
ICP are not gimmicky. They're theatrical.
Lots of artists spray water on their fans, so why shouldn't ICP spray Faygo on their fans?
What crawled up your asses this morning, when you decided to jump on the "ICP is horrible because they don't kowtow to mainstream trends and make their own path" bandwagon?

How can you call any kind of music horrible? Music is subjective right? Have you ever thought that maybe it's YOUR opinion. Maybe people can have some freewill and think for themselves, and that your opinion doesn't dominate everyone else's? That's what I hate about this site: It's a bunch of arrogant assholes who can't open up to other people's opinions, and worst of all, they actually LIKE being arrogant assholes.
