this was your best qwe, but you fail to understand how effective what you call dweedling actually can be. But I agree with you on this, I think that overall its got some fantastic material, but most of it is just fucking stupid. I may lower this to a 2.5, but I love LVia Vasquez and The Widow, (despite the horrible and annoying guitar solo in the widow)

@doombringer: The Mars Volta is like a rock version of BTBAM in some ways, especially in the amount of experimentation with other genres, especially on this album, but this album isnt that great, De-Loused is fucking incredible though.

AGREED. They are usually so poorly done. However, I still do love The mars Volta, especially De-Loused and maybe Bedlam, I love their vocals and experimentation with latin/jazz fusion, but this album is just meh and sometimes really annoying.
