Burn-man, you ARE joking right? right?
If Wayfaring Stranger would be an official track I'd bump down my rating by a notch right away. Song is just bad.
PS: it is a cover of a 1930's spiritual folk song fyi and yes, it's a bonus track

Yeah I hate Wayfaring Stranger hahaha and it is a bonus track, hence why I don't mention it.

This has grown off of me unfortunately, I prefer The Latter Rain. Still one of my top releases of 2010 but it's not wowing me like it used to.

This has grown off of me unfortunately sadly, I must concur. It's still a great album, but I don't feel that "WHOA" effect anymore either.

Mannefall sounds a lot like "Where the Slime Lives" by Morbid Angel.

Sombre Fall and Captivating Solitude are so good. In a perfect world the worst song on the album would be Mannefall, but On the Banks of the Mississippi and Wayakin had to be on here...
I want to raise this back to a 4.5 but those are holding me back.

Listened to this again over a long period of time and damn, I know the band members are all into that native Indian shit and all, but Wayaking and On The Banks Of Mississippi are just so out of place. Rest of the stuff rules hard though, I especially love Circle of Agony and Dark Prophets, Black Hearts.
This might eventually go down to a 4 for me, but the best tracks here are so awesome I just can't bring myself to lower the rating atm.

"Also, anyone else have a crappy country/folk song at the end of this album, titled "Wayphearing Stranger"? It doesn't seem to be officially on the album, but for me it is there. It's pretty bad though, if it would be a legit part of the album, I'd lower my rating haha."
Mhmm, and I agree. However, Wayakin actually grew on me after a few listens of not digging it and now I really dig. Agreed that it interupts the album's flow a little bit tho

I always get these guys confused with In Mourning, but then I remember these guys have some very strange sounding songs.

Which band is better
|
| |
I prefer In Mourning, just because they're a little more straight up
