didn't like this album at all. Only the first song was good.

This album has some of the worst lyrics I have ever read. I love the way he sings most of the songs, but I can't stand all the lyrical rhymes. Read the lyrics from previous albums & you will see how well written the lyrics are. This album lyrically is just to simple. I don't think Chad put as much effort into this album as he did for the previous. Chad said Lost & Found was written before most of the music was. Ryan in my opinion is at his best ever in this album. Greg came up with some pretty evil riffs & Matt is always coming up with something off time. Not to many drummers can do that. Just for the record, 1000 mile journey is the best song & Heard it all before is a close second. I can't stand that second solo. TRAPPED IN THE WAKE OF A DREAM...that's the best song. My rating 3.5. Chad lyrics really killed it for me.

I love the long, in-depth reviews too. Beautifully written, especially for your first time and the first paragraph really took me back. I agree with almost everything you've said about Mudvayne although I haven't listened to this album yet. But I will, if just for the "hits" instead of the "misses."

what is going on around here, Beautiful and Strange is one of the best tracks here and the riff is fucking pumpin'!

I agree with the man above me. I absolutely love the intro

"Beautiful And Strange" has grown on me a bunch. I love the verse riff, but the chorus riff still sounds too much like "Do what you do" start-stop. The closest song to that albums sound for sure.

I love the bridges on this album though. They are amazing.
