Well I'm in the very first batch of the next generation, so anyone older than me you shouldn't.

I am technically nineteen, Deviant.

And you feel out of touch? Dude, i'm 23
|

I am so fucking out of touch with the kids of today it's not funny.

lol. Are all your friends in their 30's or something?
|
| |
What makes you think that?
|
| |
Most of my friends are older, yeah. I dunno, it's partly to do with my Autism, but I really find it difficult to understand a lot of younger people and what interests them, etc.
|
| |
Is is such a big deal though? To be able relate to "the kids of today" so to speak?

to be hopelessy predictable, i'd have to say that odyssey number five is probably my favourite australian album. followed very closely by the spiders sleep by neath and east by cold chisel.
i have found myself leaning toward older music of late. i only listened to about ten or so new releases last year, for example.

This is really good but I feel like some of these songs are missing an energy or viciousness that would propel these guys into a higher strata.

Oh My God SUNK LOTO!!
I seen one of their last shows before they split. Have you listened to Electric Horse? They're sounding very promising. They have the guitarist and drummer from Sunk Loto.

I thought so at first too. 17 listens later I don't anymore. they may not seem like the most energetic band but everything song is so impassioned and powerful. You can't really write energetic songs about subject matter such as what is featured on this album as effectively any way. Eleventh He Reaches London feels like one of, if not the most passionate band i've ever listened too.
