no doubt, these guys have come a long way. their sound was so messed up and crazy in the debut, now their songs flow so damn well

Sucks that the by far best songs are only bonus tracks on the deluxe edition. Album is def better than Rosenrot, but too much miss and hit to even come close to the early 00s material.

Mann Gegen Mann goes so hard.

But Rammlied and Ich Tu Dir Weh are nothing but a boring rehash. And Rosenrot was them at their laziest and most uninteresting lyrically, even if it had its moments.

Ich Tu Dir Weh has such an awesome main riff dude.

Ich Tu Dir Weh is awesome

Its lyrics are awfully gimmicky and simplistic though, even for their standards. Till doesn't sound good either. It's quite good musically, but has nothing else to offer.

"Rammlied and Ich Tu Dir Weh are nothing but a boring rehash"
well, you could make that claim about a lot of their music. it's not like they're reinventing the wheel with any of their records.

Yeah, but I rather meant those are really just what they already did before just worse. Rammlied has at least that really atmospheric intro, but Ich Tu Dir Weh is really just one of many Rammstein songs. Nothing special anymore. The worst of those is B*********, which is just ridiculous.
While I really like Waidmanns Heil and the title track, that whole thing gets old by now, especially since there isn't as much energy amd precision in them (which of course is subjective to some extent). The better ones on this LP really are the "new" tracks for me. Frühling In Paris or Wiener Blut offer something they haven't done before and work really well. Of course you also get Roter Sand, which is pure boredom, but still.
