Ulcerous Phlegm virtually screams "shit band."
I thought this was the most aggressive album for a while... until I listened to War Cult Supremacy a few times. Shit's like running razor wire in one ear and out the other.

Is it better than Blood's O Agios Pethane?
Fuck no.
NO GRIND IS.

From what I can tell, sonic, even most people into grind don't know them well, if at all.
Hyperion, they have like forty (not really) but that third one's the best by far.

The vocals were one of the best parts of Impulse to Destroy, are they the same on that one (well i'm gonna listen to it anyways so it doesn't really matter but still).

Actually, I found the vocals on O Agios Pethane to be fully awesome - and I generally don't give a shit about vocals at all. Here's a more in-depth review: http://slaysfordays.blogspot.com/2010/11/blood-o-agios-pethane.html

Yes.

Cool, i didn't know you contributed for that blog. One of the few users here whose posts (however few there are) i can actually take seriously.

Thanks! I haven't contributed there (or here, or to RYM) in ages... but I finally found a couple of bands I can use to write a couple more things on that blog. Which should make Rasputin happy, along with the current vinyl reissue of Close to a World Below.
|
| |
Woah shit there's a vinyl of Close to a World Below?

Well there was one when it first came out, but yeah a German label (Cyclone Empire) just put out a new reissue. Failures for Gods, too, which I consider far superior. I'm trying to find another distro to buy it from though because the original label asked for a ridiculous shipping cost.
