I heard this album for the first time at the wrong time in my life. I think at one point 7 years ago I still loved Arch Enemy and heard that Michael Ammot was in this band. I didn't like it as much (and I tried to jam it and tell myself it's really good) because it isn't polished. This is raw. This is brutal, visceral and pummeling.
Good thing I hear this again now because this fucking rips

I'm gonna have to look up his credits. I'm not ready to call this the best dm album of all time, but I already put it up there with Pestilence, Death, Morbid Angel, Gorguts, Incantaion, etc. Fucking classic.
