Definitely. Gotta admire how these guys bucked the trend in shoegaze, and had explosive drums all over their work

I just jammed the first 3 tracks, but got to do work.

It's not gonna be a 3 Sandwichpickle, rest assured.

Know this gets lumped in with the 90s shoegaze acts so it's pretty inevitable, but there's really no business comparing this to mbv, worlds different

It's part of the big three, but yeah, it has more in common with Stone Roses and Madchester than proper shoegaze, aside from some of the glide guitar in some of the tracks.

About the singer, it's like his voice is always on the verge of going out of tune but somehow stays in, truly mysterious but it bothers me a little.

Didn't like "Polar Bear" but the rest is good so far, specially the opener.

Ummm not sure, low 4, really couldn't connect with the vocals but there are some seriously delicious guitar tones here.

First brush with this band for me was Trespassers William's cover of Vapour Trail, always have them kind of linked up in my mind.

Ride never matched Different Stars, great as this is
