I have the 25th anniversary edition. And I'm talking about Living Wreck and Hard Lovin' Man so they aren't bonus tracks

ive got the gold disc and they are about the same level for me, you should download that or the original cd anyway, the anniversary is easily the worst sounding version
|
| |
Yeah maybe they didnt remaster those tracks as loudly or something

Living Wreck is one of the heaviest.
also, I think that (besides Child in Time) the best vocal performance here is Bloodsucker, Gillan singing "Oh no, no noooo" it's so epic

I think Chris Cornell might've been influenced by Gillan's vocal style. Any thoughts?

I don't see how is that possible tbh
|
| |
Well, Cornell sings from the diaphragm, as did Gillan.
And out of the Trinity, I think Gillan's style had the most chances of influencing Cornell. I don't hear any Plant or Ozzy influence in his voice.
|
| |
I hear more Plant in him
|
| |
Well Plant was famous for his wails, so that could've
influenced Cornell.
The connection between grunge and classic rock is very
interesting.
Eddie Vedder was obv influenced by Jim Morrison.

There's only a bunch of songs that can compete with Child in Time as the greatest song ever made
|
| |
It's an amazing song, yeah.

Yeah it's classic all over. From the vocals, to the guitar solo, everything about it. Very adventurous track too.

Its a contender for my favorite solo of all time. So fucking m/

Do it Nero, you know you want to
Probably the heaviest album in the first half of the 70's (literal heaviness, so people can't differentiate from MoR and Paranoid's heaviness)
