A wee bit. Never sat right with me that the girl involved wanted to keep it quiet. Given how often they tour I feel like extreme measures of shitiness is a part of their tour routine. The girl does a radio show here though and is pretty well known in the area and I think she just didn't want to be involved in any drama. I'm the kind of guy who likes to go unnoticed in the background in real life but the fact that they fly under the radar with the shit they pull makes me sick inside just a little

Nah I'm from Missouri. I just got that strange Ozark country in me lol. Funny though I just met a lady from SC today. Her accent was awesome. I've got a real close friend from NC that was trying to get me to move out there recently. Was strongly considering it. Change of scenery sounds nice

lol funny thing is that im born and raised in SC but everyone tells me i dont really have an accent, even when i was living in DC people were always surprised where i was from. you get down into the lowcountry tho and youll hear english that doesnt even sound like english lmao. and yeah SC/NC are really nice places, the south gets a bunch of shit but its not a bad place to live at all.

and yeah in basically every video ive seen with nile theyre usually piss drunk so none of this is too surprising tbh.

Nice lol her accent was thick as hell so she's probably from the low. Never understood the bad rep the south gets with some people. Everybody I've met from more southern states was dope as hell. There's some people from the Ozarks that have the nearly not English accents and I can't even begin to describe them lol.



Also I'm with you Shadow on never really digging Nile. Shocking too considering I was obsessed with tech death when I was getting into this stuff and they were always a top rec. I know their drummer has loads of fanboys for sure. Never heard that story about Impaled but I'm not surprised. Wish I woulda got to see Impaled back when they were still touring

Indeed. At the time I tried them I was probably checking like 8 death metal albums a day so I can't say I really dedicated much time to trying to get into it tbh. Dude was definitely very fast on the kit. That night was my only time catching them live. Was supposed to see Malevolent live with Incantation around that time too but that whole tour got cancelled. Still got to see Incantation on a rescheduled date though and that ruled. Incantation is another band I oddly didn't dig much at all at first. Luckily I went back and they've got some stuff I love now
