my opinion on his ambient shit still needs (potentially?) recalibrating, but this one appears to have grown on me

Yeah. St. Elmo's Fire - The Big Ship is an all time great sequence for eno though.

Heard Golden Hours on a train watching the sun setting. Would recommend.
Also developed a case of St. Elmo's Fire addiction

The Big Ship and those two would be my top 3 I think.

Sombre Reptiles is such a mood too, makes me picture the old dinosaur drawings from the books I read as a kid and acts like a melancholic soundtrack to them. I wonder if I'd like it the same with a different name lol

different beasts but I feel fans of this may want to check the only album by Dalis Car. Artsy abstract post-punk with Peter Murphy and Mick Karn (bass guitar squad listen up). Ace stuff that remained far too obscure

I wish the pop songs (other than Sky Saw which rules) were better on this
Like the ambient tracks outshine them by so much and I don’t even care about ambient

“The Big Ship” has a beautiful moment in the movie “The Days Between” (2001) and an ok moment in the Jason segel david foster Wallace movie
