I'm considering giving this an even higher rating, riffs and solos here are so goddamn fantastic, can't understand all the hate

Anthems is one of my fav melodeath albums ever honestly.

but it's so mediocre tho hawks :/

Anthems has some serious cuts though... I heard it pretty early on in my metal journey and songs like Silent Wars, Leader Of The Rats and Dead Eyes actually redefined my whole conception of drumming.

eh her vox are kinda silly and there's a lot of not-great stuff there. Some killer tracks but I think it's really inconsistent. Wages is much better.

I dig Wages hard too but idk Anthems has always been my fav. Dead Eyes See No Future is a GOAT song for me.

Enemy Within is perf melodeath so that one wins for me

Album Rating: 4.0
Yeah I mean the vox aren’t really any different than they are on Wages so idk I don’t get that one lol.

Idk it's like the production is clearer or they're under-produced so they sound kinda sloppy. She tried to sound too aggressive and dramatic and it doesn't really work. WoS just did everything right.

Yeah I totally agree. My fav with Angela is definitely Wages, some really neat guitar work thee and her vox are the best on that one.

These guys basically gave up writing good music after Wages.
