I dig All We Ask, dude; just not as much as the rest of the record.

if yellow house is more like 'all we ask' than the rest of the stuff here i'm afraid i'll find it boring

but i'm not exactly sure that's really what you're implying

Well I appreciate we've come to an understanding, Lewis. Respect.

the best chorus and easily the best song of the album goes to Southern Point("In the eeend...") All We Ask is pretty cool, but after following Southern Point and Two Weeks it kinda lacks imo. The entire album has that airy feeling, and like you said, they are able to take really fun riffs and grooves and flesh them out into really great jams(I Live With You being a prime example)

Why the 2.5? You obviously see the goodness of the album.

the part with the saxophones before the chorus on 'i live with you' is the best part of the album

This record is like waiting for somebody who never comes and you have to walk home in the cold all pissed off with no cigarettes left.

Well we'll agree to disagree. I guess a lot of people complain that it drags and has pacing issues, to me I can just relax and be fully content with it's mid tempo bliss. "I Live With You" is incredible, the riff gets so loud and epic, I guess it tails off pretty quick at the end, but it certainly doesn't invalidate the greatness of the track. Also, don't let tracking issues effect your opinion, because it doesn't affect the music at all.

no, MPP is tribal stomping with a bunch of crazy black people in the jungle.

In this jungle there are electrical outlets and hipster-ish musical taste is common.
