Mammal was pretty terrible. Never listened to their last one.

Mammal kinda sucks, but everything else is good, especially the last album.

Mammal has "Feather and Bone" which is by far the best thing the band has done.

Bloody fuck this is good.

A headphones album for sure with monstrous production. Im about to check out Mammal if it's half as good I'll be happy.

first half of Mammal is awesome, the rest is quite boring. Neptune is dead is a monolith tho, love it.

Well I take it I'm the only person who prefers this to Teethed Glory and Injury?

2nd half of this album is a bit weak, teethed glory is worth for every track

Yeah the 1st half is certainly the best (especially the first track) but I don't think the electronic/industrial/black metal mashup on Teethed Glory is as effective as everybody seems to think. I definately prefer the longer song structures and build ups here

With that said this does still sound like a poor mans Ashes Against the Grain.

I find they're just waaay too drawn out and the end result feels somewhat pointless too, whereas there's so much going on in Teethed Glory that appeals to me

They are definately, especially when they use the same average melody for 7 minutes straight but i just listened to both of them while driving through the country at night and this one just appealed to me more . Although track 3 is pretty shithouse after the first 2 minutes, im not sure if its supposed to be creepy or cathartic or what but it's abit laughable to me.

That's the song with the sparse doom instrumentation and witch vocals, right? That's why this is only a 3.5 for me--everything else is great.
