Yeah for sure. Some of the riffs sound like something off Ænima but with a powerful sludge/black metal bite.
Also just dropping in to say this is still a top 10 bm album imo

Not sure tbh RAy brother. I guess if you dig nihilistic sludge bands such as eyehategod, thou, Dragged into sunlight, you may dig this, but this may be more accessible than those, so a good entry nonetheless...Also what Dedes said gives you an idea. Multigenre piece going from BM to Sludge, with some cool drum progressions and riffs. Also I think this one was written during army time, it feels pretty personal.
