I can see that. It's not like I'm some stickler for heavy music - I was when I got into Focus, during my metal years - but I dunno exactly what it is about Traced in Air that turns me off. Well it's not so much turns me off as fails to turn me on.

Focus is good, I liked it. I'm starting to like this more now... yikes!

Upon re-reading the review I have concluded the author needs to listen to the album more - seriously it took me 18 (yes, 18) listens in its entirety to digest/understand

I could agree with this. It's something that grows on you, but it's taking me a long time.

I don't really care for these guys, much less this album.

review was...pretty damn good, must admit. especially for a first. but there were a few things, one of them being that you didn't go into enough detail, i am sre u could improve on this in the future though. people who negged and talk shit are just pissed because they can't write a good negative review pos

its hilarious how people give bad feedback for a review based on their rating.

Exactly how I feel. This needed a lot better production, all emotion and meaning seems stripped from the musicianship. I really don't feel enlightened while listening to this, it takes away from the artistic aspect of music.

Thats how i feel to, if it was on technicality alone id give this a 4.5 but its missing something for me.
