As for the leper reference, well therein lies a tale.

I'm a bit of a Metallica fanatic and a song called Leper Messiah is a particular favourite of mine. Its also a play on the word leprechaun, the Irish mythical halfling, and my own name Conor. Lepre becomes Leper and I affix Con to it.
