Nah. You're entitled to your opinion, but where you hear a copycat band, I hear one that sounds like no other (except early Ensiferum for obvious reasons). Where you feel that all these songs sound the same and are recycling ideas, I hear significant differences, in transitions, progressions, even the tone of the guitars varies just enough. No two songs sound alike, and they all provide a slightly to moderately different feel/mood, but stay close enough to each other to lend the album a strong sense of coherence that many other bands can't produce (see most tech death).
Jari’s vocal performance is nothing short of tiresome and annoying, his screams never changing pitch and contributing to every song sounding exactly the same
lol you must be joking. Because most metal vocalist that use harsh vocals tottally change up the pitch and tone of their growls/screams, ect. like multiple times in every song. Or at least every song...or at least once or twice. Right? No.
Jari's voice sounds incredibly badass, I happen to like his vocal technique much more than most harsh vocals I've heard so I don't mind at all that it's the same throughout the album. His cleans are fine.
This is like the most uberish super fanboy review ever, only opposite. Your review of Krallice was poised, explorative, reserved, confident, mostly objective, progressed well, and combined your knowledge of music and personal taste very well. Whereas your Krallice review simply suggested that the album was bad, this is an angry rant, written with relative quality, but put forth in a manner that suggests that anyone who likes this album is a retard. That simply doesn't fly. Everyone has their opinion, and just like you think Hornets of the Pogrom is 5 worthy, and that album bores the hell out of me (3 at best), this album strikes tons of people in an overwhelmingly positive manner and you trying to indirectly shove your self-appointed greater credibility opinion on us with this review makes you come off as a narrow-minded elitist prick.

Jacktiger7x, I wasn't referring to your comment. Yours was pretty lucid, although I disagree with the last two paragraphs(stating that the album is held as a paragon of the style is not the same as trying to attack those who enjoy it, and if a certain type of music breeds stupid behavior it probably is stupid music). Sorry if that wasn't clear.

After reading this I see you don't have a strong understanding of what trolling is, yet you unknowingly seem to be doing it.
The reviewer finds the album to be a collection of shallow ideas, badly executed, and rightly so. There's no reason he should doll it up by playing coy so that maybe a couple of homos can be swayed by flirtatious language into thinking that even he doesn't really believe his own opinion. No review is more irksome than those which apologize for disagreeing with the norm. "I'll probably get flamed for this, but..." or "I know everyone else likes it, and that's ok, but..." are statements for people who have a testosterone deficiency.
Good point but it still doesn't validate or support this review.
