Well, but since there are fans from the two areas, maybe they could mix it up xD
I don't know only time - and them - will tell

They mix it up then and they'll be labeled as inconsistent and all over the place. I think the direction they go in is a lose lose situation.

Hmmm, good question... & yeah, there is a bit of lose-lose about it all. I defintely agree with Romulous that "12 Audience Of Ones" is not the way to go.
I think their sound will pretty much stay the same. I think they know that polishing it up any more could be dangerous. So I just think that with their heavy touring schedule (they will be in Oz twice within 10 months) there may be longer between albums, meaning they'll try to get as great a bunch of songs as possible. That would be fine by me.

Well, Davey, sorry, but sounds to me that you like Rise against in anyway xD They're always fine by you :P.. and I dont blame you xD
Hey, why are we speculating? They're starting to work in the new album in March 2010, we're almost in 2010 xD
We're about to the direction they'll follow pretty soon I guess

Good point... But you never know... They may try & get ambitious & make synth-punk. LOL.
But yeah, I guess we'll know soon enough.

Hands down the most energetic band I saw at BDO. My jaw was on the ground the entire time. Next gig they do I'm going for sure, 45 minutes or so was nowhere near enough time for these legends!

Great to hear you enjoyed it Croc. My better half thought they were actually better yesterday than back in March. Performance-wise, I know what she means, but the longer set at the previous gig made it difficult to split for me.
And I hope your jaw was on the ground figuratively, because you would have been in a lot of pain if you are being literal. LOL.
"ALL BECAUSE OF YOU..."

They didn't even play Hero Of War in NZ, needless to say I was not amused.

"They didn't even play Hero Of War in NZ, needless to say I was not amused." He was probably supposed to, but couldn't remember the words.
Funnily enough DavID, that's the line he came back on after forgetting the words in Melb. Almost thought of you for a split second. LOL.

How bad was the foul-up?

Ummm, if you wanted to be critical, it was pretty bad. At the begginning of the 2nd verse, Tim couldn't remember the words. He couldn't hear the crowd trying to help him & Zach came up and helped. He sang 2 more lines & then stumbled again, saying "I'm just not getting it"... So he just kept strumming the guitar until the "pissed in their hands" line. He was fine from there.
After the song, he joked around in a great manner. He said "welcome to amateur hour with Rise Against" and a few other similar things.

Basically same thing as what happened last year on the same stage with TBE. Kurt completely missed the intro to Gone. Funny Stuff.

Probably a good thing he didn't play it here then. It's amazing how many singers forget their own lyrics.

It is quite amazing. I guess it's still a relatively new song, but still... My guess is that it was because he was concentrating on the guitar chords so much. But who knows.
