discog walk: Revisit on the Remastered 2004 ed. (excellent prod). I do like the repeating hypnotic patterns mesh with tiny changes & shadowed melodies, i do understand why some sput m8 find it monotonous, really fair.

Lifandi Lif Undir Hamri 11/10 track [2], indeed, long epic HQ piece. For me, paired with "Vetrarnott" & "Miogaros eldar". Agreed, the opener is the stronger of the 3.
"Heimdallr", weird well done crescendo into this one with also stellar melodies. The closer "Norvegr" is one of the best of them all, such an epic melancholic one.
I knew it was coming, rate bump from 3.5 to 5.0. From my perspective, rightly deserve. The passage of time did not affect this album at all. The contrary is happening, for me at least.
Many years ago when i was a total noob concerning black metal and death metal, i didn't get it, but kind of like it anyway. Now, i love it, after intense ear training. Never regret it.
Especially with talented band like this one. \m/
