P.O.D, Dio, Autumn Leaves, Norther, Disturbed, Naildown, Manowar, Linkin Park are all pretty horrible and cynic are undoubtedly better

P.O.D - absolute, total guilty pleasure, can't help it so you are right with that one
DIo - come one man Dio rocks, it is your loss if you don't like him
Autumn Leaves - very decent melodeath with good riffing and a cool distorted production
Norther - first two albums are near classic and the others are good too, you shall find that a lot of people agree with me on that
Naildown - have you even heard of these guys?
Manowar - I don't particularly like them, just the album Kings Of Metal is fun at times to listen to
Disturbed - well you got me there haha
Linkin Park - say wha? I mean Hybrid theory is ok for nostalgic values, but the other albums are quite shit tbh. Haven't liked Linkin Park for a long time now.
I wouldn't say that Cynic is undoubtably better than all of these (although, yes, proffessinally takeing, it is better musically than Disturbed and P.o.d. and Lp and so). I guess its just musical preferance tbh

how is Naildown bad, they are like a breathe of fresh air in the melodeath scene? Various, blasting drum patterns, heavy riffing, solid song buildups, good clean vocals (the screaming sucks a bit though) and their progressive nature, they are a very, very good melodic death metal band so I completely disagree with you on their case.

btw i once made a review about Naildown and you said that they are good, just a bit too cheesy so idk. Anyway I was a bit sad to hear that i listen to a LOT (yeah i know that p.o.d. and korn and disturbed aren't all that special, but a LOT of bad shocked me) of bad metal but whatever.
