idk if this has the reputation of a classic
dull album anyway, only a few songs show off the way they'd round off their songwriting with impeccable layerings like souvlaki or even avalyn, the rest is a reverby stew

i remember the first time i heard this album i had a mate over and it was maybe 1/2 am and we were out of things to do but didn't wanna sleep straight away so she asked if i had anything to put on and i was like "yeah i have this new-old slowdive disc i haven't heard yet, wanna try it" and she did and then we lasted approx 3 songs. truly a moment band, un-un3able
