Foxing is great, sounds like a good show.

just start with this album I guess.
Yeah I hear Foxing always has a great live show so I'm pretty amped. There's also a duo called Lithuania there who I haven't heard of.

None? Damn, I thought they were really good minus a few cringe-worthy lines.

i still like songs like nice and blue and silencer, but the lyrics seem really juvenile to me now.

Silencer is one of my fav songs from this band period. I mean the whole song is just so god damn relatable. The second verse was seriously so descriptive of my worst break up, like it was so uncannily similar.
"She put on happiness like a loose dress / over pain I'll never know"

lyrics are too cliche and lame for me
|
| |
That's always been an issue with this band.

aaron sounds best on this one by far

i think he sounds 10 times better on catch for us. there's so much variety on that album, and yet it has this cool unifying atmosphere about it
|
| |
i think i just like their more in-your-face style on this, it feels like aaron is in the room yelling at you the whole time

it's hands down their most unrestrained album, with some cool experimentation. i still think nice and blue and silencer are great songs, a lot of it just comes across as whiny to me though
|
| |
this was my first mwy release so it's somewhat sentimental, but this just feels more genuine and honest than anything they did afterward

Love this album, but yeah, Foxes is better.

Definitely a little better than their newer stuff
