@Thor: thats quite unlucky. though they usually charge ridiculous prices for things. I noticed that Blood Mountain has been dropped to only £5 in a lot of shops, which is unexpected... did the media hate it that much? This Message Edited On 11.25.08

Ordered this from Amazon yesterday and it came today!

Artwork is reeeeeeeeeeeedonkulous. Lyrics are even better than what little I had gathered.

I got this saturday and have been listening constantly ever since. Now that the rather frustrating wait (pushed back date, suspecting amazon(uk) for having only 2 copies in stock the few times it was available for preorder) is over I must say it's quite impressive!

There are many captivating moments but I gotta say I didn't expect to hear something like the intro/outro to "King of Those Who Know" in this time we're living in; just otherworldly. I guess it's only Paul Masvidal who can come up with stuff like that.

The limited edition is pretty cool too. I think I'm going to put the poster above my pc/sound system; now this part of my room is even more 'religious' with that ridiculous artwork.

Have a nice day!

I must be in the minority here because I haven't heard Focus yet but I love Traced in Air. Is Focus similar to this at all?

Medicore is one crazy bastard. I've been listening to this alot lately and feel a 4.5 is justified.

I was excited for this after I read the review, but I was even more excited when I found out that most of the tracks are under 5 minutes. There are very few artists that, for my attention span, can pull off 5+ consistently. Great Review, I'll be listening to this in the next couple of days.
