This is great, I miss the energy of this and Favourite Worse Nightmare. Favourite is the best album and they get worse one by one afterwards.

don't like this band at all and never have, but convinced myself to listen to their debut because of the reputation it holds. i'm not converted to a fan, but most of this was undeniably good.

You should listend to their second album then, it's a bit better than this IMO, more polish whilst still keeping that youthful energy and exuberance

I probably have this rated pretty highly for this kind of thing...
It's infinitely better than any of the 'recommended by reviewer' albums, definitely.

Franz's debut album is also a classic imo. And add on Bloc Party's debut too. Those are the 3 mid 2000s indie rock god albums.

I like Silent Alarm (more than this actually, it's an outlier), FF debut was ok at first although it got slightly irritating after a while. Like I say, it's not exactly my music of choice so I'm difficult to please. I do have some respect for these guys.
