Yeah this band kind of dropped off the face of the earth. Their last website update was over a year ago.

Really is a shame, their next album could have been ridiculous.

Hello to everyone its Finnie from mesa verde. Ive just checked this review and am totaly blown away by the love for our album. We are just so glad that it means something to someone else as we put everything we had into it.
Guess you guys are wondering what the hell happened to us! we were ment to be doing a split with Spires but they just stoped mailing us after we send them the song, then our singer dave moved to germany and I guess life just got in the way of the band. But we have not split up we just havent got round to finishing our new songs that we started.

Now the good news. The song that was ment for the spires split is now available for download from our myspace page. Its named "in 64" i hope you like it.

Much love to the Sputnik crew thanks for all the support. X

they're all perfect. But the screaming at the climax of Return To Victories is fucking majestic.

very true. Although Return to Victories is my favorite, my favorite moment on the album is probably that mid-point shift in Post-youth where the ending riff finally creeps its way out of the noise and that heavenly reverb guitar fades in. Gives me chills every time.
