the only bad moments I think, was the excessive use of WAH on kirk's part.

other than that, he was phenomenal. This Message Edited On 10.28.08

I'm disappointed that you still can't really notice the bass.

True, but its still more audible than on the album. If they remastered the album (no plans to do so though) I would definitely download it at least.

many people say they can't hear the bass. I agree to an extent.

but I think there are moments where the bass enhances

the song to a whole different level, such as on cyanide,

and suicide and redemption. Those parts when Rob comes in are kick ASS! his riff on Cyanide gave me goosebumps the first time i heard it

Loving this now that I've finally picked it up.

My only complaint I think might be the drumming.

Obviously. Every time I hear the latter half of "The Day That Never Comes" I can't help but cringe at how out of place and weak the drumming is.

I actually think Unforgiven 3 is pretty solid, despite the rude comments about it.

I like it as well, but I was hoping they'd weave into the lyrics a way of saying unforgiven three. Just to keep up the tradition of the last two.

definitely Metallica's best album in a long time. I liked Unforgiven 3 too but then i like basically everything Metallica has put out.
